Our mission
AI App Reviews exists because founders deserve honest information before spending their hard-earned money on digital tools. No hype. No sponsors. Just honest grades.
Grading methodology
Every product is scored across seven weighted categories. The weighted total maps to a letter grade.
| Category | Weight | What we look at |
|---|---|---|
| Core Functionality | 25% | Does the product do what it claims, well? |
| Ease of Use | 20% | Setup, onboarding, daily use — how much friction is there? |
| Value for Money | 20% | Is the pricing fair for the value delivered? |
| Transparency and Trust | 10% | Clear pricing, honest marketing, no dark patterns. |
| Support and Documentation | 10% | Docs quality, response times, community. |
| Competitive Advantage | 10% | What makes it stand out versus the alternatives? |
| Reliability | 5% | Uptime, consistency, and bug-free behavior over time. |

About the reviewer
I'm John — a non-technical founder who built MailBeacon, an AI-powered Gmail tool, in 25 days using Claude AI and Lovable. I'm not a career reviewer or an engineer. I'm someone who ships small products and spends real money on tools every month.
That's the lens for every review here: does this product actually help a founder move faster, or is it just another AI wrapper riding the wave? I test everything hands-on, in real work, before it gets a grade.
